Represents a handle to a large binary object.

static Blob from(Publisher<ByteBuffer> p)

Creates a new Blob wrapper that is backed by a Publisher of ByteBuffer. The wrapper subscribes and cancels the subscription immediately on discard().

Parameters:

p - the backing Publisher of ByteBuffer.

Returns:

the Blob wrapper

stream

Publisher<ByteBuffer> stream()

Returns the content stream as a Publisher emitting ByteBuffer chunks.

The content stream can be consumed ("subscribed to") only once. Subsequent consumptions result in a IllegalStateException.

Once subscribed, canceling the subscription releases resources associated with this Blob.

Returns:

a Publisher emitting ByteBuffer chunks.

discard

Publisher<Void> discard()

Release any resources held by the Clob when not subscribing to the stream content.

Returns:

a Publisher that termination is complete
